You think so? I imagine smoking weed before a fight would be harmful to your performance because it's not exactly a performance enhancing drug, like steroids. James Toney is simply a hardcore mofo. He might smoke weed when he's not training though?

i stricktly heard he smokes right before the fight to get blasted, really blasted, then fights, how can it mess u up if you also train with it?

I'm just asking you think about it. Marijuana combined with an exhausting sport like boxing. It's probably not wise to smoke it before a fight. I'm sure his trainer would agree. To be the best takes great responsibility, even if it means passing up the blunt. I know I wouldn't do it, but I'm also not a professional boxer.

Would definitely help with the pain aspect. I've worked out while lit, and you can go for longer, because you don't really feel your muscles burning...you feel it after though lol.

Anyway...Tyson's been caught with trees multiple times, and coke and shrooms (go figure) before. And Roy Jones Jr. was featured in a song "I Smoke, I Drink", lol, pretty self explanatorty.

But, yeah, I definitely don't doubt a few guys might get high before. But I would definitely say the majority get high otherwise.

boxing is all about speed and reactions,no pro would be that stupid,also it takes along time to leave the system, so any drug test would show up even after a few days.

Well, once you get used to weed (I can see by your typing that you might be new to it LOL)...you can do whatever. I've done it like once or twice, but I got really into it and pounded away. And then there's basketball, which sometimes when I smoke, my reaction time and concentration definitely increases and I can run the court.
