Thanks for the welcome! The site does look like it has a lot to offer. I have been reading all kinds of posts and looking at the photos. I really like the state by state forum, a great idea and way to meet people in your state. I have not met many people in CT so I thought this would be a good way to do so. It seems we have a couple things in common. We both have 2 kids and used to be an iron worker. :thumbsup:

I live in the Thompsonville area of Enfield. I live near the pond and rec center. It is not the greatest place but anything was better than VT. I looked in Suffield for place, but the rents in that area is a little out of my budget range. I like CT much better than VT.
