a couple questions for the grow vets out there

i am wondering about starting my first indoor grow. i have assisted on a few grows before (indoor and outdoor) but this will be my first full time effort at it. usually i have been involved with bag seed growing, the lone exception being when we were given some seeds for my buddys birthday. my questions really involve the acquisition of seeds. i want a proven strain but the only way i have to get the seeds is to order them from the net. how safe is this? are there any sites better than others? are all of the seeds you get female? which strains in your opinion are more forgiving indoors? thanks for any help you guys and gals can give me.

There's tons of info on the subject at this site .... buying seed on the net is the safest way of getting them .... I'm sure other growers will agree ... just go to the seed section and have at it .... as far as the most forgiving I would say Nothern Lights ... or an Afghanistan .... I'm sure there are plenty of strains that do well indoor ... just do the research on the seed board .... hope this helps ....good luck with your grow.

How safe is the net?? It's very safe...it's customs that sucks. Your only as safe as the address is your sending to. Setting up a safe addy is a must IMHO. Try to not have them sent to where the grow will be at.

I never buy feminized seeds, and usually stay well about the so called 50/50 ratio.

Strains; man thats a loaded question, it's more about your grow area, your buzz preferences, what yeild your needing each cut.
I ran NL's years ago, but find it a very weak smoke...or I got a tolerence thing for it.
I've been swapping clones and seeds with so many folks, I dont really search shops to much anymore. The 18-20 strains I have now are from banks long gone, either out of business or off the radar...again with friends you get developed with.
Your just going to have to read till you puke.
