    Outdoor curing question...

I am planning to set up an outdoor grow soon but I was reading into curing methods and most the directions were for indoor growing. The primary reason I'm growing outdoors is becuase I live with my parents so I dont think a closet full of drying weed would make them very happy. So my question is outdoors how do you cure? Should I just hang the buds between some trees where my grow spot is or should I make a plan for a different spot to dry all the buds? I'm trying to figgure this out before I start my grow becuase I'm growing for personal use and I dont want to end up with a big stash of nasty harsh weed that I can just go to the hood and buy any day. And thanks ahead of time for any help imp:

    Outdoor curing question...

You can hang them up in the trees but a shed or something enclosed would be far better if you hope for any kind of a cure...assuming you're harvesting a large amount. If you only have a few plants, a couple-a few days of hang-drying then into jars to finish drying slowly over 3-4 weeks (this is curing...'slow dry') or large Tupperware-type tubs if you have a medium sized harvest...IOW, what you use to cure in depends on the quantity.

They will mold up anywhere but indoors when you dry them. Freshly harvested quality weed is amazingly stenchful. If you bring it home you can make your own reality TV show called WATCH MY PARENTS THROW ME OUT

No they won't and in fact they have a better chance of molding indoors than out because of the lack of air movement inside! Ever see how the Mexicans go about it? They use barns with more planks missing than on the barn! The more air movement you have the faster the drying, which isn't necessarily a good thing either, but the faster it dries the less chance of mold.

just make sure when you dry it to check the news and make sure there is no chance of rain otherwise you will be fucked up.

Indoors you can control humidity, outdoors you cannot. Air movement is important, that is why the use of a fan is reccomended. A lot of mexican weed is schag because of their lousy drying and follow up curing methods.

If you live in an area that is not arid like Mexico, have fun with mold.
Yeah, we Yanks dry tobacco in barns with slats that open to the breezes... but by September around here it's nice and dry. But by the time the green stuff comes down, it's getting into the rainy season...
At least you're thinking about the logistics of this before you start anything.
