hey my dog took a dump on the floor infront of my plants! that made me think.. hmmmmm.. i know that cow shit is good for plants. but what about dog shit? i mean could i (not saying i want to) pick up my dogs shit and feed it to my plants? and if so do you think my dog will get pissed? if i smoke the weed i grow with my dogs shit, would i be smokeing some good shit? (punn intended if i blow the smoke in one of my other dogs face... do you think that dog would look back at the other and say... HEY!! that smells like rover! DAMN!! that shit is dank! LOL


ok if i could feed my dogs shit to my plants what could i feed my dog to make its shit better fod da buds?

ok, here is the thing, yes it would work, as long as your dog dosnt get sick from the stomach, but the smell will be terrible... i dont think you will like it, that everytime you watch your plant you will get an odor, like a public bathroom, or some thing like that.

You can buy other similar stuff in the home depot and stuff...

Cow shit, (shit in general) and active Humus, are great for plants because, when you fert it, some times the fert is mineral, and the plant can absorb it, so when you put something like this, youll create bacterias in the soil, wich destroy the mineral fert, and tranform it into a "biological" fert, with the plant can absorb really easyly, making it get thiker and stronger for sure... If you use the shit without any fert, youll get bacterias, and those will consume the "food" of the soil, so you got to convine it with any fert.

Ill recomend you to get a different thing than your dog crap, get some odorless thing man...

If even so you dont care a shit, feed your dog with dogs food, and if possible put some vegetables into its diet...

Howdy Smoke,

You don't want to ever
use fresh crap,it needs to be composted first ,the nitorgen levels are too high and would likely cause fert burn,use only manures that you can buy at the store,as they've been properly composted and sterilized.

I use to use bat guano tea,as well as add it in dry form to my soil mix,the plants love it. However,be warned that the smell factor indoors,can be high..lol. If you are going to supplement your soil mix with manure,that would eliminate the smell factor,I think,worm castings are really good to use too.

I like to use a big plastic trash can to mix up my soil in,I like to add perlite,vermiculite, and bat guano,rock phosphorusand you could add blood meal as well. However,you do need to wear a dust mask,latex gloves,long ones,and eye protection would be best too. You don't want to inhale any of the manures,phosphorus or blood meal,nor let it git into your eyes.

By making a custom soil mix,you won't need much at the start,in the way of ferts,if any. Plus ,your plants will get the building blocks that they need to be strong and healthy,from the git-go. A healthy plant is much more disease resistant and pest resistant and what you're doing is,increasing the brix factor,the natural sweetness of the plant..pests don't like plant sugars.
