Anyone ever lose their urge to smoke?

Ok, ok...before I go into this, lemme give you a little background about myself. Im a 19 year old college kid that has been smoking since late Junior year of HS. I usually smoke about once, maybe twice a week and only crip, never regs (just dont like it.) But, as of the past 2 or 3 weeks, I have randomly been smoking everyday. No reason why, I guess there just hasn't been much to do.

Anyway, about 7 days ago I felt a pain in my chest everytime I went to take a full deep breath. I decided I would stop for a little bit as God knows I could use a break. The pain left 2 days later but my urge to smoke has yet to come back.

Literally, I'll be sitting around a table of friends smoking a blunt or passing a bowl and it will come to me and I'll just pass it on. It's not even tempting to take a hit AT ALL and I dont understand why!?!?

So, my question to you all...has this ever happened to you before and if so, how long before you got out of the phase?

i get that way when im really fucked up sometimes, like it will hurt to breath so u just pass it up? if thats what ur talking about it only happens occasionally and only happens for like one night.

yes I have felt it especially when something important like finals is coming up!! Yikes but I did great on finals so I will celebrate over Christmas break.

and yes Buck I agree I can't afford it........maybe my next 50 bucks will go towards a pair of shoes instead hahaha

I definatly do lose my urge to smoke once in a while. I think its important to stop once in a while, especially if you don't feel like it. I'll smoke pot every day for two weeks straight, and then its like I feel almost saturated or something. So then I take a break. Its cool because when I take the break, I'll usually set a limit for how long I am going to 'fast.' Always gotta stick with it though, so if joints and stuff are passed around, I'll always say no. Takes breaks like that help me ensure I've still got control over the marijuana, not the other way around.
