I have a few each of Big Boy, Big Beef and Red Cherry started from seed in the beginning of May. Germinated in jiffy pellets and split/transplanted twice since and now 3gal planters w/promix. They're getting to be around 3-4 feet. No plant related problems so far (a bird was kind enough to top one for me though). Started using "Neptunes Harvest" at half strength every 3 days (rather than full strength bi-weekly) when they hit 6-8 inches. They've been on 1000ppm of FF Tiger Bloom every other watering for 2 weeks (since onset of flowers).

About the Ca deficiency....I've used RO since germination with nothing but the above two ferts and haven't seen any sign of it on mine. I have CM+ on hand as I thought I would need it, but so far so good.

Hybrid tomato seeds, Heirloom tomato seeds, hot chiles, sweet peppers, tomatillos and eggplants, plus garden supplies, garden books, and posters. cheap, 30 seeds cost a couple bucks ... now, if OUR seedbank industry could get in line with those prices, we'd really have something (yes, Reverse-osmosis filters take out the calcium and magnesium, it will need to be replaced, also, RO water is frequently very acidic, my city water is 4.5)
