i know this might not be the place to put but was wandering,i have some 3 plants doing fine under tl5/ho/54/865halide 4 bulbs and also just ferted for first time and bottom leaves look dark green with lite green spoches on leaves is it a sing of to much water or ferts?any help really tomatoes this time better boys and one big boy

lol this is fare from the place to be asking that but it's a lot like growing weed just easyer lol i would not worry about them tomato plants you got damn we got like 8 tomatos growing in the growend and we dont even water them and there still growing fine and faster then my crop that i put much love in to lol anyway good luck i guess peace

Very likely calcium deficiency.
I've seen it regularly among container grown veggies. Add some cal-mag to your feeding and I'll bet it improves, or stops worsening.
I love tomatoes... and having a home for them year-round is an added bonus of growing the Shrek indoors!

Oh and I WANT PICS!! Especially when they bear fruit.

What are you using for a pollenator? Do you have bugs, or are you going to do it manually?

What fert are you using? A balanced flowering/bloom fert is important for tomatoes. Too much N in relation to P (like most veg ferts) is going to give you "viney" growth and fewer fruit sites.

Do you smoke cigarettes? Has the texture of the leaf changed?

I have a few each of Big Boy, Big Beef and Red Cherry started from seed in the beginning of May. Germinated in jiffy pellets and split/transplanted twice since and now 3gal planters w/promix. They're getting to be around 3-4 feet. No plant related problems so far (a bird was kind enough to top one for me though). Started using "Neptunes Harvest" at half strength every 3 days (rather than full strength bi-weekly) when they hit 6-8 inches. They've been on 1000ppm of FF Tiger Bloom every other watering for 2 weeks (since onset of flowers).

About the Ca deficiency....I've used RO since germination with nothing but the above two ferts and haven't seen any sign of it on mine. I have CM+ on hand as I thought I would need it, but so far so good.

Hybrid tomato seeds, Heirloom tomato seeds, hot chiles, sweet peppers, tomatillos and eggplants, plus garden supplies, garden books, and posters. cheap, 30 seeds cost a couple bucks ... now, if OUR seedbank industry could get in line with those prices, we'd really have something (yes, Reverse-osmosis filters take out the calcium and magnesium, it will need to be replaced, also, RO water is frequently very acidic, my city water is 4.5)
