    asus 22" widescreen

    ok it a long shot, but anyone know how to get around this terrible HD playback, it was perfect on my old 17", this new asus 22" inch is great for games and desktop apps, but HD playback is god-awfull!!!!
    ive updated all media codecs/drivers etc, but cant get rid of this artifacting!!!

    games are un affected, oridgional DVD is ok but not great, but high-def .avi files suck ass:wtf:

    heres a screen shot of a 700meg episode of lost (.avi) any ideas???

    or is it simply that the new screen is so much bigger and better quality that it makes all the imperfections on compressed vids stand out.arrrrrrgggg
