Cell phone ringers/answering machines?

So, I have been planning to make this thread for a while, but I keep forgetting. LOL :stoned:

You know the music that now replaces the ring for cellphones? What do you think about that? It doesn't really bother me, I'm not talking about that. But what DOES confuse/bother me, is when people put an ENTIRE SONG on their answering machine ( in place of a normal message)...and then expect you to wait through it (never knowing when it will end) and then leave a message. I think they maybe don't want people to leave them messages. I don't get it. Can one of you who does that (I know you're out there) explain to me the purpose of this? Thanks.

Oh, and combine a musical ring with a song for an answering machine message...and you have the most ghetto & annoying cell phone ever...and then you probably bitch about no one leaving you messages, huh?

lol yeah those long machine messages are the worst! i usually press buttons till it says LEAVE A MESSAGE...or how about those people that act like theyre talking to you on their machine!! i've seen people go on for 5 minutes before realising theyre talking to a message, its hilarious....

the music that has replaced the normal telephone ring makes me want to wrap my lips around an exhaust pipe and suck. if i ever go postal and start shooting random people for strange reasons, i will shoot everyone who has an annoying cell phone ring on my way to the dmv to shoot the place up and burn it down.

I just got my mobile set to a normal ring ring - im not into all that fancy music stuff.

I remember the good ol dayz when a phone was for ringing - now you've got texts, cameras, videos, music, internet, emails.

The good ol days are gone, and the bad new ones are here.


I dont know if you've got these in America - but another thing is pre recorded prank calls - so you just ring the person and play the recording. Damn they piss me off. Although i've only ever got one - and knew it was pre recorded coz it kept going dodgy.

I hate when people do that with messages, ringtones I don't mind. That fact that bothers me most about it, is that the song in the message is so badly recorded, you can tel it's a song, but you can't understand it and it sounds like crap.

Probably stupid motherfuckers that don't pay there bills and have bill collectors calling there asses 24/7.

Yea, well, I love the new features. But my rings are discreet and normal. Most of the time, I have it on silent...and when it's not...it just goes "beep."

LMAO, probably. They're like, hey YOU sit and hold on the phone and listen to the stupid music! LOL. Oh, crap, maybe they ARE the bill collectors, and they just can't help but do what they do best. They naturally make you wait on hold music before you can speak with them! ha.
