Quick Soil Question

Ok, I picked up some Miracle Gro Soil today and then I thought i remembered reading that you shouldnt use Miracle Gro. Anyone got the lowdown, will it be ok to use this soil?? Appreciate it.

i wouldnt use it due to the already added nutes in the soil, i prefer clean organic soil with nothing added to it.

i have never used it myself. plenty of people i know use it and love it. you wont have to add any nutes for a while.

MG soil also has a base PH of 8 so be wary of that when using it

Another one, should i buy both seeding soil and potting soil or can potting soil just be used from the start?

regular potting soil is fine, can you find better soil just incase this doesnt work out?

yeah i was up at Ace today and i just grabbed a bag then i remembered i read something about it, ill prob just exchange it tomorrow or something might even give it a shot and change some of the variables ie soil and see which one performs better. first grow and more of a test run ya know?

test runs are good, but i dont want you pissed at yourself if it went south because of the nutes in the soil, i say if your going to do it atleast do it right so you know where your mistakes lay.

add some perlite to make the soil more aerated if you want
