Well now I read it....I think it was sad that she stole out of your supply instead of talking with you about it. Maybe you could work with your daughter twords a better relationship, allowing for more communication? To be honest, I told my parents after smoking a few times and liking it. My parents were pretty darn strict, but I could talk to them. That's really important. Simply put, I trusted them so I discussed it with them. Because they trusted me they told me that if I kept things in ck and didn't make it an issue in my life they wouldn't bother me about it. And I kept my promise, and they kept thiers. Now I smoke with my father occasionally (mom doesn't toke but once every five years) and this happend 15 years ago.
So, I don't know if you grounded your daughter or not...if you haven't, I don't think you should. This can be your first step in showing her that you trust her and i'ts okay to make mistakes as long as she doesn't repeat them. She'll know if she is curious or scared about something she can come talk to you without you getting upset with her. If you have already grounded her, I would tell her it wasn't because she smoked, but because she stole and that is wrong..no matter what the stolen property is. That's my opinion....nothing more nothing less. Please keep us updated if you can.

I found your other thread finally, well I started smoking at 15 if that interests you at all, I know you asked for the dudettes opinion but I just thought I'd say it was good of you to talk to her about it and it's good that she don't like it right now and it's good that she now knows the dangers. But I think you should also tell her that if she gets older and wants to try it again that she should come to you because you can't be a hypocrite and tell her she can never do it when you do it. So I think you'd be more comfortable knowing that if she is going to do it that you know she is and this way you also know that she's not gitting ripped off by some street dealer.
