    And All Things New....

Wow, man! Very nice set up.

New dirt should not be a biggy. Or even amending it as you're doing should straighten it right out.

Looking forward to reading your updates.

Shovelhandle Reviewed by Shovelhandle on . And All Things New.... So here it is a what you all have been waiting for! A new log from Bree!!! LOL, j/k. But seriously sorry for the vacation....I've been quite busy as you'll see! If you followed or read my first log, located here http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-log/89003-again-another-light-question.html, than you know that I had a pretty ghetto grow, but had a yield that was higher than expected. This time I've actually loosened up my purse strings (read: spent my arse off) plus put in a lot of elbow Rating: 5

Thanks! That's a huge compliment coming from you.....

DIRT: now I am smokin and considering it at more legnth, Stinky said something in a thread awhile back about cactus dirt....I'm going to try to 'dig' that info up. I'm also going to look up black gold...I remember somting aboot that tooooooooo.

    Thanks again Shov, I'm flattered.

Markass, I like your grow you got going....I've said that before and I'll say time and time again. Thanks for the complements!

Another note to current grow...heat got higher today...going to add more passive..or agressive (teehee, i'm at a loss for the proper word at the moment) intake to room..as TheGreenFog would say, stay tuned!

Well I'm really trying to kill them...confused as to why they are showing ph probs, because I ckd the runoff and it was perfect. I used a garden soil that had lime added. Tall and lanky is obviously overwatered. I don't think that one will make it....Again I don't know what's going on. I'm so happy this isn't known genetics. Perhaps I just waited too long to repot. Don't enjoy the sick photos. lol.

Heya Bree, I love your construction photos.
    The plants.... they look sad.
Did you add lime because you were already aware of a pH problem?
Is that soil heavy on the peat moss? It has that color... and the symptoms of crap pH are certainly there.
You know my foolproof soil mix... lots of composted humus (from the farmers supply since it's treated for pests and seeds, unlike the stuff in the compost heap)... 40% perlite... no peat! lol but seriously it's very easy to control the pH since the organic acids in the humus buffer pH ~6.8 and also act to chelate fertilizer components.
    Good luck!
