A way to join...

Is there any way to join the type of uhh "religion" native americans and such believe in? More and more lately I have become aware of spirits in the world and energys and such. I dunno if this would help but i'm like 1/16 cherokee or something, and my great great grandmother on my mothers side of the family was a witch/shaman type who lived in the amazons of peru. I'm a descendent of inca's. I really dunno if that would help. It's just a lot of things in my life are starting to make sense and I feel more understanding of what psychadelics really are, maybe I just think I know, but it's something more to me. I've been hearing/seeing/sensing/etc this weird evil spirit with me lately, and its been intense, and I feel like somehow joining a group? such as what my uhh ancestors were apart of would help me get rid of this spirit and more intouch with my spirituality. I also realize cannabis helps me be at peace with this spirit,while other psychadelics can help make him....agitated?...anyways any info would be appreciated, or advice....uhhh yeah.....I have thought of maybe moving to peru when I get older to learn more about what my greart great grandmother was all about....but I can't do that for like 3 years...i'll add more info later once my thoughts aren't so scattered...but hopefully someone can help....thanks in advance!

Why would you want to be at peace with an evil spirit within you? That's like trying to shake hands with your cancer. It's like becoming aware of the worst part inside you and not trying to change it, just live with it.

You've heard of ritual purification? It can take many forms. Shamans aren't exactly "joiners" most of the time...

Well it's not exactly being at peace, it's more like, I feel protected by the earth and its energy....I just want to find away to get rid of this thing....its like putting thoughts into my head causing anxiety....oh and never heard of purification...my grandmother is now a catholic(not related to the witch/shaman) and she got some holy water and did some shit to my room....I think it helped a little but it seems like it made the spirit angry...

There is no religion to join.

Find yourself a Shaman. If you cant find one locally you might want to look at the writings of Carlos Castaneda. Most Libraries have his books.

If you ever get down to Central America or Mexico, I would be happy to introduce you to a few.

Thanks for the answer I was looking for! I will try to find one around here...dunno how I would go about doing that but probably shouldn't be too hard....if not I could always visit family in peru...

well become a deciphle of some indian shaman, thats a little hardcore though cause 1 out of 3 shaman deciphles die in the process of becoming one.

The evil spirit you speak of is the conjoined energies of all the life you have ended in this plane. Bugs, mostly.
Go out and spray your whole body with Raid, making sure you get quite a lot in the eyes. This will help "envision" the pulsations.
Then find three black widows, and place them in a triangle pointing toward your heart on your forehead.

As funny as that was...i'm not laughing....I had a lucid dream last night and basically was trapped the whole time....I couldn't control it at all....I was aware I was dreaming and as soon as I was aware I lost control cordination and fell to the ground....I then proceeded to walk down a hallway until I woke up....the whole time I walked down the hallway I had some type of dark shadow around me(keep in mind this was a dream)....Besides I HAD arachnaphobia until 3 days ago when somehow I didn't get a panic attack when one was in the garden....but black widow I probably still can't touch...too many memories of them doing bad....And if all you want to do is imply that I kill myself....why don't you go back in your fathers testicles where you belong?

the thing where ur dreaming but u cant wake up is called sleep paralysis google it or somthin. I wasnt implying u kill urself, i was just sayin that alot of shamans die trying to become shamans so if you wanted to follow that spiritual path be prepared to put your entire life into it. Shaman initiation includes being torn apart completely in the astral realm and be put back together bone by bone, piece by piece. Shaman have been known to still have lifelike skin long after death, they dont deteriorate as a normal human.
