I have had impaired hearing all my life and ive found it was always useful when trying to sleep as you can muffle out surrounding noises. Unfortunately im getting an operation later on in the year to fix this.

there are these cone shaped things you stick in your ear and light a match and put it inside the cone and all the wax melts and pours out. You wont believe how much wax is backed up in your ears. It sounds fucked up but if you have someone do it for you, you should be fine.
