Novice Grower- Have a Goal - Need Steps and ideas!! PLease help!!!

Hello-

I live in south florida and want to grow an indoor marijuana plant
nothing spectacular just my own personal plant where i can grow enough to the point where i dont have to buy weed anymore because of how expensive it is.... currently im paying about 25 a half 1/8th...

MY GOAL: To grow an indoor marijuana plant in my room without my parents knowing and for that plant to be able to produce a sufficient amount of pot!

I have a few perspective areas that i took a picture of and will post once i figure out how

I have tried to read alot of the threads on here but have really come up short....they seem to advanced and complex and they are on a mnuch bigger scale....

What i need is a true beginners STEP by STEP what to use when how, how much where to get it ECT... this is the best place to go because you can answer questions...i ahve read a few guides and they have many holes

I really want to make this part of the Cannabis Community- i ahve a7.2 megapixel camera and plan on recording my progress every step of the way so you can follow also.....

My Goal # 2: My second is goal is when it is all said and done to create my own step by step guide for the true beginner....heck hopefully they can just read this thread....

You guys are the best you have the most knowlege and now a fellow toker needs your help!

Well, first things first - if you are growing for personal use, how much do you use? Most smokers I know are about 1 gram a day AVG (less some days, more on weekends, etc etc). This is 1 oz a month roughly - meaning if you grow from seeds in a single grow area, 1 batch at a time (roughly ~100 day cycle from seed to cured-ish) you'll get 2.5 harvests a year - so you'll need to pull roughly 6 oz per harvest to have 1 oz a month.

Even a first time grower, if they pay attention, should be able to get 6-oz from a 400W light and say 2-4 plants. Even 1 plant if you have it positioned right, large enough container and good temps, although this will be a BIG plant...

You won't be able to grow enough for personal in your house without your parents knowing unless you can survive on like 14g per month. The smell of several plants growing is unmistakeable. The light you would need to grow would have to be around 400w which will bring the electricity bill up. Also you would have to conceal it airtight to conceal odors and light and this causes heat and airflow problems... You best bet is to grow outside somewhere off your property. Florida has a great climate for cannabis minus the hurricanes. You may be able to get away with one if your parents aren't nosy but the most you could get would be maybe 2 oz every 2 months

thats fine i consume about a half 1/8th a week and thinking about putting a grow box in the garage wiht one plant....i have a 3 car garage thats full of junk and dont think they would ever go through there.... plus my parents know i smoke i have smoked with them they just dont like the idea of me growing....does this garage plan sound realistic?????

I personally think it's fucked to grow without their permission. And unless your garage is air conditioned, it would be difficult.

Yeah... If you have a 1 plant setup you can only harvest once every 80 to 90 days depending on how fast it grows. You will need CFLs and computer fans to cool them. Get the 2600k CFLs for flowering and the 6900ks for vegetiative. Also when you make you box, make sure it is tall enough for when they start stretching. Shortly after you induce flowering the plant will stretch for about 3 weeks and alot of people let their plants get too big and end up not having enough room. If you flower a 6" tall plant it will be at least 12" tall when it finishes. And it takes approx. 60days to flower. You'd be much better off to do it outside...
