So because these bands are underground they are better? And to the person that mentioned ICP, well, they suck. I heard a song with them on it and made it terrible. Talking about stabbing people with chainsaws, talking about being as sick as Lou Gherig. Sounds like Eminem's early lyrics, except they're just trying to be goth rather than thug.

If you want some decent underground hiphop, listen to Atmosphere, Murs, Canibus, Aesop Rock, El-P, Aesop Rock, Jedi Mind Tricks, a few songs by the Unknown Prophets, Brother Ali aint bad, MF Doom, etc.

If you're into mainstream, but are tierd of the same damn bands (club music, etc), listen to Three6 Mafia, Lil Wyte, or Project Pat. Not completely mainstream, but same style for some part. VERY good music.

I don't really understand the whole wigger revolution. I go to highschool and yeah, I do see people trying to be black. Let them do what they want. They aren't just trying to be black because Eminem is, it's just their style. I haven't heard the term "wigger" since the seventh grade. Please grow up.

(P.S. I'm not Goth, I'm not a wigger, I'm not a prep, or any of that. I'm my own style, yet a conformist. I love rap, underground hip hop, classic rock, and any music that I like. Bob Dylan is my hero. )

I've listened to a bit of DJ Shadow (don't really remember his musics), and Lyrics Born aint that bad from what I've heard. That's about it from them. I'm not really so much into underground hip hop any more, I've just been listening to a mix of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Three Six Mafia, Project Pat, Lil Wyte, some ZZ Top, just kind of lax music. Haven't really been listening to too much hip hop other than Aesop Rock and El-P for now.

If anyones into techno or any of that kind of music, check out The Faint. They're a good band, not sure what to call them though. It's like techno... or trance... or electronic, or something, but with lyrics! I used to listen to them all the time. Check out their album Danse Macabre.
