Howmany times do you hear this word used out of context? I cant believe how many people are out there that think the word is ignore-ant, as in you ingore things or people.

I've never heard someone use it in that sense, but I think if I did I would think they were stupid.

Uhh actually, in french, ignore something can mean to not know about something or to don't care about it. So ignorant is used for idiot. Well, not idiot, but ya know, ignorant

I've heard people use it when they mean someone isn't very smart. But never when referring to ignoring someone/something.

Not really no. A few are but they dont have the word ingorant in their vocab.

I can definately see the ignorant thing. Usually abbreviated as Ignant.

Hahaha that's gonna be my thing now, and trust me it'll catch on. Irish people love using americanisims it just sounds so funny in an irish accent eg: "jew fuck me wife? Ya ignant bollox. I'll give you fraudulent...in the eye, that's where!"
