weed, they eat a combination of fruit baby food and crickets. crickets have to be supplemented with calcium, which is easily done with a paper cup and gecko dust. these guys are extremely easy to care for, i feed 5 days a week, 3 days baby food, 2 days crickets, 5 per gecko. they thrive at room temp which means heat lamps and mats are unnecessary. and they change colors and patterns twice a day. very cool

skink, i see how it looks like wysteria, but no, it's local mountain laurel. good stuff, it's stretchy, and naturally grows all twisted and deformed. i don't even clean the branches, i just replace them once a month. i'll take new pieces, and have my brother cut them to size, and treat with bleach water to kill any disease or bacteria. then, after letting it sit and dry for a day, i arange a new branch set up in the cage. the food dish is behind the stump. the bowls and stump are the only thing that always stay, the stump bieng his den. this keeps him happy and stress free, and he doesn't mind the branch change; as a matter of fact, i think he enjoys it. they are nocturnal, and i replace branches in the day. when i do, he wakes up, and climbs to the top of the stum, and watches. soon as i'm done, he's all over the new stuff.

what a weirdo, huh?
