^^^Says the man with the 6 rep dots...and his rep feature turned ON. C'mon man. I'm an aspiring psychologist. I just wanted to see how long it would take for someone to give me rep after that. I was really and truely happy with the rep I had.

And on that note, man...I do think the rep thing is worth something...just not up here in the Lounge. In the Grow Forums, though, rep could really make a difference who n00bs listen to when they are searching for grow advice. It doesn't work that way here all the time (people with mad rep can go into the grow forum and act like they know)...but then again it does...cuz look at your girl's rep. :thumbsup:


Oh, and for the record, most of my rep has come from actual posts I've made, not post-whoring...most of it.

BS threads like this take the rep thing, which could have been useful for the reasons you stated, and make it worthless.

If there were a feature to see what users got repped on, that would be at least an improvement...

^That would be very cool, H4H. I think knowing which reps were for good, mature posts would also be good to know who is chill and who is not...because sometimes I see someone post something that I think is funny or cool and I get a decent first impression of that person, but then a week later I see them post something completely inappropriate and/or immature. I try to stay positive, though. There is good in all people, eh?
