well metaphor i thought you were saying that those types of posts were getting old not alice in chains. I dont care if you dont like Alice in chains. so when you see what i thought you meant it kinda changes everything. Second i do listen to good music and i play good music on my guitar...jimi...zep...clapton..floyd. Third you dont even know me so quite being so ignorant as to i should listen to better music...o yeah and if you dont think aic is deep than mabye you should stop listining to music and start hearing it.

if you ever said that bolded sentance to my face i would have knocked you the fuck out. Ive gotten lost in music so many times its not even funny(i know some of you guys know what im talkin about ). When i listen to music i get absorbed in it, i not only hear that shit i feel it. The music becomes a part of me, awakening all sorts of emotions. When i listen to AIC that shit dosent even phase me, i feel nothing. Thats the reason i say they get old fast.

(Zep and Floyd are two of the bands i loathe most, but thats a whole other thread, when i say good music i dont mean classic rock lol.)

That's definitely the best description of that feeling with many classic rock bands.

I mean do you wanna get stuck to listening to what I'd like to call introductory bands. There's so many types of music, and bands out there that experiment in different sounds and keep expanding on it. I can't believe how people could get stuck on the classic mainsteam. When I hear AIC now, Zeppelin, even Nirvana, it sounds extremely stale.
