i have to go to juvenile hall(placer county) for some amount of time(not sure yet). whats it like in there? am i gonna get my ass beat or sumthin? im kinda a scrawny kid. do you get your own cell? soap dropping? please if you post actually have some first hand experience por favor

It's all different from place to place, and depending on how the age groups are blocked.

But, no soap dropping, no getting your ass kicked, you get your own cell, hell you even shower separately.

I mean, they are kids trying to show how hard they are. It's boring, but it's not all that bad. Perhaps the food that tastes like shit will be the lowest point.

Important thing is not to fear those guys. Cuz if you show it, they'll give you shit. Just be chill and cool with everyone and don't look at people the wrong way.

you're probably gonna be celled up with atleast one other person.... but for the most part... stand your ground.. there's not alot of fighting or anything, i mean don't just go fucking with someone lol cuz even in the real world that's asking to get your ass beat...

just remember that... give people the respect, but let no one take it from you... like i said it ain't jail.. but if you let one person get away with fucking with you, it'll keep up and keep up.... kids in there (and that's what they are, kids) pick on people that won't say shit.. just like in school...

showering can't tell you a whole lot, but there was only 1 or 2 people in the showers at a time where i was.... i was in two places, the first it was 2 at a time, then i went to another where only one at a time (people were getting freaky in the showers... lol)

get the whole idea of jail outta your head... cuz it ain't nothing the same... like i said, there's probably gonna be someone there that'll test you.. try to tel lyou to give him your food or w/e... but he's not gonna do shit if you don't... he's looking for the ones who are scared and will just do it...

it's juvi, so it's scrutinized a whole hell of a lot worse... you go to school durring the day, you eat your 3 meals a day, and the rest is basicly writing home or playing games... on the weekends if yours is the same, you get to watch movies and shit...

i mean seriously, what kinda hardcore lock up place is gonna bring you snacks like twice a week.. like snowballs, or packets of those gummi candies, or oreo's or rice crispy treats...

i actually liked teh food at mine o.0 well not all of it but ya know... sloppy joes, frito pie, bbq'd chicken, hamburgers.. ect ect.... the food is even better then most damned schools...

also dunno about yours.. but with mine, you get cool with the gaurds and they get you to pass out the trays to the units, you get all the extra shit.. entire boxes of cookies or like 10 damn hamburgers.. lol...

yeah, the doing nothing will drive you crazy... especially when you got those idiot trouble makers (you seem 'em on cops all the times, the ones who can just NOT SHUT THE FUCK UP and gets teh whole unit put on lockdown [no writing, no talking, no NOTHING... sitting on your bunk in silence hour after hour... for up to weekSSS]) it's enough to drive you crazy really....

that's also a pretty quick way to get your ass beat while no one's looking tho... doesn't happen often, but i garuntee you get a unit shut down for the day, much less the week.. they'll find a way to make you pay.. and if not.. they'll do it front of the gaurds...

you've basicly just pissed off 11 other people (well depends on how many in a unit) severely, leaving them with nothing to do but sit in silence all day....

if you mean juvenile detention then its not too bad i went ther for 4 days a couple monthes ago, i highly doubt youll get your ass beat, you shower by your self, i can gaurentee that youll smell like ass when you get out or atleast i did cause they didnt give me deoderant, it is the most boringest place ive ever been in my life id gladly take a kick in the nuts everyminute for 5 hours then go there, i knwo this sounds really gay and shit by try to make the bext of it every chance you have to be outside your cell take it

just cuz it now occured to me... when that book time comes (either a cart will be brought or you'll be taken to a library, depending on the facility [if you're lucky]) get the fattest book you can... i hated reading but i must've read a million+ pages while in there... reading may be 'boring' compared to your life now... but it sure beats the living hell outta staring at the wall all day.
