What If....MJ=Legal but Alcohol=Not

I would smoke over drink any time, but they both should be legal. You can't even argue that bud is worse than alcohol, in terms of deaths, health, and the effects of being on both.

I am at a point in my life where I understand alcohol,,,I know it is nothing but poison... I have been taught in a hard way,,,but not as hard as some...
My father basically took his own life with alcohol and ruined many other lives in the process... I can not even think of an instance were pot was fatal... I do believe there is abuse of herb though,,,and it can wreak havoc on family's...When a person makes pot their sole purpose it can devastate their position in life... I am all for the legalization of pot and could care less if all the booze in the world was used to fuel our cars and heat our homes...

I don't really know about this one. I drink alot, red wine at dinner, maybe sip on a little bit of scotch whisky after. Then every once in a while I will have mamosas at my house when my friends stay overnight. So all my daily drinking, or my daily toking? To Toke or to Drink, that is the question. Which one is of the utmost importance to you? Your glass of Shiraz at dinner and scotch after or what about your daily toking in the backyard? What ones do you choose, what one would you rather have to bootleg? Hmmm... I'd rather grow cannabis secretly. After all, when you grow cannabis not many bad things get put into them, but when you brew alcohol secretly, alot of weird shit goes in there.

Maybe with the internet they will have forums.alcohol.com and it will be just like this one. "Hey dude! Check out my new micro-cab beer brew!" says the guy with a blurry face, "I have a CO2 injector here set up to go off for 2 minutes every 6 hours."

LOL! Yeah maybe weed illegal would be better...I mean....I dunno....I don't drink that often but I DO like drinking. Getting a buzz from alcohol is pretty fun and relaxing, not getting really drunk though. Like a few beers, or a glass of or two of wine. Also weed is easy to get now and very much tolerated by most people whos opinions I respect. I'd rather grow weed than make alcohol. Anyways the world would deff be kinda wierd...just my :twocents:

I think they should both be legal, not because they I like them both or whatnot, but I just think the same should apply for alcohol; people should choose what to put into their own body.

Life would be pretty boring if alcohol was illegal and buda wasn't. A hell of a lot more people drink than smoke first of all. Second of all, what's a party without alcohol?!? Shit, what's any social gathering without a little booze.

Like Matt said above me, the world would be pretty weird. When you're high, for most people, they like to keep to themselves. Socializing is what makes the world go 'round, and fill that with legal cannabis and illegal alcohol, and shit would not be able to function properly.

I think they should both be legal, but definitely not alcohol illegal and weed legal.
