niether. you are being misinformed.
ge makes several types of flouro tubes. you are talking about ge plant and aquarium and ge sunlight.
sunlight is good, but not the ideal for veggetative growth. it's only 6000k. however, right beside them are the ge DAYLIGHT bulbs, wich are 6500k, perfect for veg (and i highly recomend them; best flouro's i've ever used)
plant and aquarium bulbs are totaly out of the spectrum; they burn at 5000k, and are good for fish and aquatic plant life, but no good for you plants, being quite a bit too pink.
if flowering with flouro's and cfl's, you'll want a warm spec bulb. kitchen and bath fits this profile, 2800-3100k.
