How to collect pollen from outdoor grows?

So how would you guys collect pollen from your outdoor grows? I have read 5 or 6 articles on how to collect pollen and it all seems tailored to indoor growing. Does anyone have a link to a nice guide or know a good way to collect?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dr. H

very bad idea. unless you want to pollenate your crop; which, if you do, that's kinda assinine too...

pollen falls downward. wind blows it around. when your male is in heavy flower, you will notice that fan leaves under the flowers are coated with yellowish powder, like cheap heroine.

this is your pollen. gently tip the leaf into a baggie, give it a gentle shake, and the pollen will fall in the bag. store the baggie in the freezer.

to pollenate (isolated pollenation), have a small (tiny) paint brush, and spray bottle of water. take your brush, and dip it into the bag of pollen. i little goes a loooooooooong way, so just a dip, mind you. VERY gently brush the bud you want to pollenate, get the brush out of the room, and comence to misting the rest of your females to help keep accidental pollenation (which WILL happen) to a minimum.

    hope this helps

Thank you very much Scarlet Sky! I think I might have a few nice seeds with my other females.

to totally pollenate the crop, take a big brush, scoop the pollen, and brush over the whole plant, top to bottom, one stroke. the pollen will take flight, and pollenate everything in that are, ie, that plant.

are you could just let them pollenate naturally, after all it is outdoors any male you have growing in close proximity will pollenate your females no need to even bother collecting the pollen.

I am thinking that I might just have my healthy male pollinate a female naturally. I do need alot of seeds and I don't want to have to do a seed run for a while, so why not pollinate a whole one and get 200 seeds or so.

How about a good was to collect pollen outdoors and then selectively pollinate one or two small buds without pollinating the whole plant or the entire crop? I don't think its really posssible, cause how would you get an outdoor male to the point of producing pollen, without risking the pollinating of the rest of the crop? I always look at outdoor growing as having only two choices, either pollinate everything or pollinate nothing.

If anybody knows a good way to do that, I would like to know about it too.
I think I spelled pollinate wrong but I am not sure?
