Medicinal Bong Water?

For anyone who may know some medical and/or science stuff bout this kind of thing...

I recently learned that you can soothe a soar throat by putting a few drops of eucalyptus tincture/extract into a pot of boiling water, then covering the pot with a towel, putting your head under (effictively "hotboxing" it) and inhaling the vapor. I tried it and it works really really well.

What I'm wondering is; if i put warm water in my bong with a few drops of eucalyptus in it, would smoking from it get me high and soothe my throat at the same time? I think there is some potential for this to work, so I'm going to try it if no one on here tells me I'm gonna poison myself.

sounds like it could work, cus if it does, then i'm going to do it cus i have this horrible cold that keeps getting worse that i've had the last 3 days

I thought it had to be heated, enless you want to put boiling water in you're bong.

didnt you say that you were boiling the water at first?? i wouldnt suggest putting boiling water in your bong as it may crack. That changes the equation if the water isnt boiling, i guess theres only one way to find out.

Eucalyptus is good for the sinuses and nasal passages, but it would hurt your lungs like fuck if you inhaled it.

Warm water in a bong can produce a soothing effect on the the lungs and throat though.

warm water in bongs isnt smart....heat pluss moisture is perfect breeding grounds for bacteria and such ive done it next day i could barly breathe cuz it hurt went do docs and had a upper respatory infection.......but anything minty in a bong helps with the harshness.... just be carefull
