I have a friend, one who should know better, who insists he has created a viable tincture-like substance using nothing more than honey (the bee kind). I tried to explain the chemistry involved in tincture preps, and he is more than capable of grasping it all. But he was looking for a quick & easy method and claims he found a recipe online that merely involved warming some honey and throwing some product in there, stir thoroughly, strain & serve. He claims it works & he got all bitchy & defensive when I questioned it, but I let it go. I think he's off his gourd and is in deep denial about "how things work". There are plenty of reasons why the idea could never work and he doesn't want to hear any of them.

Please, I'd like to refer him to this thread so he can see that I was indeed correct & whatever he created, it's not anything resembling a "tincture". Please help me advise my friend that he has not in fact discovered the cannabis philosopher stone, he merely made himself a mess. He's a good guy & I'd like to help him prevent any further embarrassment. thanks.
