is 2 2ft floro lights with 2 bulbs in each enough for 2 plants also are the floro gro lights any better than the cool white shop lights?????????:rastasmoke:

plant and aquarium bulbs are 5000k, bad for growing period. too pink.
ge makes a tube called daylight, 6500k, perfect for veg, and any kitchen and bathe flouro tube is in the 28oo-3100k range, flower lights...

so dont use the gro bulbs?? i heard the soft white is better than the sunlight ones?

i didn't say sunlight; sunlight is 6000k, a little off for great vegging. DAYLIGHT bulbs are what you want for veg, the p+a bulbs are more for fish and aquatic plant life. soft white is a warm color (2800-3100k) and is good for flower.

im new man what is the 6000k and all that? the spectrum? and how will i know what spect the bulb is in will it have it on the box cuz the ones i have dont
