Tarantino is 1 crazy motherfucker, i myself am a huge fan. I have tons of his movies and I gotta say this is one of his best IMO. GO SEE IT :P Rating: 5

just saw it last night, thought it was fucking sweet. It's been said before, but it does drag a bit in the second one compared to the first, but I think tarantino did a pretty good job with the build-up. All the dodge challenger chase scenes were pretty fucking cool. Great movie.

I'm seeing it this weekend but this spot of news just came out...

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is planning to re-release Grindhouse as two separate films - after the double-bill flopped at the box office. The film, a double-feature directed by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez made just $11.6 million in its opening weekend in the US. Producer Weinstein is disappointed - and thinks Tarantino's Death Proof, starring Kurt Russell, and Rodriguez' Planet Terror, with Rose McGowan, will perform better on their own. He tells PageSix.com, "I don't think people understood what we were doing. The audience didn't get the idea that it is two movies for the price of one. I don't understand the math, but I want to accommodate the audience."

Guess I should get seeing it before it costs me more :jointsmile:

I saw this on Easter and i didnt like it. The first movie was pretty good at times, but tarantinos movie had no point. It was so dragged out and unlike his other movies the dialogue really wasnt that good. I was really dissappointed in his movie and it sucks because im a big fan of his. I will say however that the fake commercial's were hilarious

I'm boycotting it because they used a dead Kennedys song for a rape scene. To be fair though I wouldnt have seen it in the first place.

you know, i just got done watching these.. i feel kinda strange.. the movies were very 'diffrent'... o.0
