It sucks, the scabbing hurts way more than anything else! Especially cause I have to work..and half my back is a freakin' scab...hahaha. Oh well, I love it. The only time I bit my lip getting work done was on my inner forearm. It has blue shading in it, and for some reason, the ink would not go in. He ended up pressing so hard on my skin to get it to set. That part totally sucked, but other than that, yeah, I just bullshit with the artist too. Listen to some tunes, hear the buzzing...it's a good time.

The shitty thing about the spot you picked is you can't really lotion it without some assistance. I found the best way to get a tattoo to heal is no soap, at all, and to keep it "juicy", as in keep it lotioned, but the spot you chose will be hard to do every few hours.
Oh well, it will be worth it in the end. It looks like it's going to be a badass piece of work.
I just need one more 2 hour session to finish my forearm sleeve. I really should go. Maybe with my tax return check.
Take care.

I swear by A&D diaper ointment (NOT THE CREAM VERSION, it has to be the ointment) for quick healing. The stuff is brilliant on tats.

Cool. I use and have always used Wal-Marts's brand called Equate. I've had this huge bottle for years and it works great.
