If these people want to travel a bit for their precious photo ops to friendly countries fine.....if their mission is against the Executive Branches foreign policy that's bullshit. Pelosi's visit was bullshit along with your examples.
During the time of Hasterts trip, the nation was way to busy wondering if Bill had dipped a Presidential cigar and the dems didn't want to give the impression that they were creating a distraction. Just more partisan bullshit!
