â??Damascus Nancyâ?? And Unlawful Diplomacy
He overstepped his power even worse than Pelosi and SHOULD have been held accountable for it!

If these people want to travel a bit for their precious photo ops to friendly countries fine.....if their mission is against the Executive Branches foreign policy that's bullshit. Pelosi's visit was bullshit along with your examples.
During the time of Hasterts trip, the nation was way to busy wondering if Bill had dipped a Presidential cigar and the dems didn't want to give the impression that they were creating a distraction. Just more partisan bullshit!

Yeah, a mouthpiece for bush, liebermans main job. How anyone could not see throught this clown is amazing. He only wore the Democratic label because his home state voted mostly democratic, he was a republican in sheeps clothing. I've disliked Lieberman ever since he stuck up for Bushs' invasion of Iraq. It was republicans voting for him in his home state that put him in office defeating Ned Lamont, a real tradgedy for the democrats. This guy is a real scumbag, just to listen to him snivel makes my stomach turn.

I don't neccessarily agree with the way Pelosi did what she did, but I can understand it. The Bush administration's attempts at diplomacy have been ridiculous. He acts like the rest of the world is little children and he's the (unfit)parent. "I'm the boss, so do what I say, god damn it, or you'll be punished! Fuck off if you don't agree."
What Bush has done to our image abroad can be compared to what Katrina did to New Orleans. Whoever is in power after 2008 will have a lot of international damage control to do. The Dems sense that they're going to be the ones doing it, so they're just starting early.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's scheduled visit to Syria tomorrow drew strong criticism again from the White House today, despite the fact that three Republican congressmen went to Syria yesterday.

[Mr. Assad] knows that," Mrs. Perino said.

Knowing about it and giving authorization are two completely different things.....what do ya think the White House should have done, grounded her to her room? lol

If there is one thing that I've learned with a few people in here is to check out the facts and NOT to let their little "spin" papers such as prisonplanet, etc..be considered as such.

Read the highlighted area once and remember that thing called "Food For Oil". According to the provision you pointed out it was pretty clear that the people of the U.N. were NOT going to do any action based on the fact that they had other motives.
Next, IF the White House was in violation of any resolution then it's up to congress to proceed with an impeachment in accordance to our Constitution.
So how does that make me a hypocrit or did you just have to get your rocks off?
