Smoke'n'Toke Reviewed by Smoke'n'Toke on 04-07-2007. DRY for the first time in eight months... First time since August that I've only smoked one time in a day...and I'm out now. ARGH. My guy's guy had lasic (spelling?) surgery yesterday so he couldn't get anything, so I'm waiting. Only till tomorrow, so I'm not that bad off, but this night has been BAD! I bite my nails when I can't smoke, and I don't really get hungry, and I am awfully tense, so I just feel like shit right now! Maybe a little bit of detox will be good for me, but I'm still having a hard night. I focus more on Rating: 5

I still know that I have do have a physical addiction, but I also have an oral fixation (I am so gonna get shit for that, but that is what it is called!!), which is where the nail biting comes from. I chew pens, as well, and bite my nails till I am just biting skin, and that's all the time, not just when I am sober.

Weed isn't physically addicting tho, if anything your mentally addicited. Most the time when i'm dry its ok untill i actually think about it thats when i want to smoke bad. Try not to think about it but then again if you don't want to then you couldn't post cause when ever i'm on this site all i can think about is a fat blunt in my hand, and when i see pictures of bud that looks soooooo good omg it sucks. Just try not to think about that shit till you re-up good luck untill then tho.:jointsmile:

Yeah, I'm dry too, and it sucks. I just smoked the last of my purp last night. Got high as shit, but I'm dry. But, I'll be getting about a quart when I go back to school, then I'll try to score an O. god I would be in heaven if I got an O. I don't smoke to much, maybe once or twice a day So it would last me FOREVER.

No, there is definitely a physical addiction. I can't eat when I don't smoke, because I don't ever get hungry. I ate one meal yesterday, cause I just couldn't even swallow anything. When I can't smoke for long periods, like a week or more, I get jittery and tense.

Physical dependence just means that you have physical withdrawal symptoms when detoxing, which I definitely do.

I have an extremely addictive personality, though - I get addicted to everything very easily.

And I know there is also a psychological dependence, as well, which is where the boredom and nervousness come from.

Um...no? Why should I? Like I said, its not as though I am a burn out who just sits at home all day and smokes, and weed isn't ruining my life or anything. It just makes it harder to not miss my boyfriend and family when I am sober.

And its not like I am the only person on this board who is addicted to weed, and I don't have any other vices like drinking or smoking cigs, so I don't really think its a huge deal.
