If your gonna do it in an apartment, keep it in a seperate room / closet with a very secure lock on it. Not just one of those door nob courtesy type locks, but an actual security type padlock. re-enforce the jam too. Make it so the maintenance staff would have to literally break the wall down to get in. Take all the usual precations like blocking all light, controlling oder etc. Tell no one and don't deal and you will do OK. If anyone like mintenance or visitors asks whats in the locked room, tell em thats where you keep your firearms and amo. Just want to be safe right?

    good luck,

yes, that's the plan; lock on the bedroom door, bigger lock on the closet in the bedroom; things are looking more and more flourescent because of heat. small grow cabinet for veg in the closet, mylar wall to seperate from flower room, flower room under t5 flouro most like, it's going to get warm here. if i started months ago i wouldn't have an issue though it's snowing! yeah! crazy weather

yes i checked norml but it's not quite clear

    what does
"Any amount (with payment)" mean? under sale and cultivation. i'll never ever sell anything to anyone, heck i probably won't even ever smoke my own bud with anyone.

and the "under one ounce" cultivated law is a bit confusing. if i were busted, i might have less than an ounce of bud in the house total, but if they are counting the entire plant than clearly it's a null issue. and what does "whithout payment" mean, since under an ounce selliing "without payment" makes no sense since you're getting payed, and under and ounce of plant matter is pretty ridiculous

it's just not clear. what i'm trying to find out is if i hav four plants, and i get busted, what happens. i'm guessing several thousand bucks in fines and fees, and several years of probabtion? does that sound right? i can't imagine they'd put me in prison for growing a couple plants? especially in this state

as i'm continuing to plan my grow, i'm now thinking of not having a veg and a growroom, for the one reason of space, but also because i'll have less plants at a given time, and less electricity use each day, but i'd be harvesting every 3-4 months rather than every two or less.

anyway, i think i'm getting the drift. having a felony on record is nothing i want. have to be impeccably careful, and i will be. in fact, i'm afraid once i get going i won't be posting here anymore. paranoia can be good

One more thing - make sure you have at least one key type padlock on the door and not just a combination lock. I recomend two locks. This way when someone says "Oh really, guns huh? can I see your gun collection" you can reply:
"Oh sorry but that key is on my other key chain that I left at work, or left at grandma's house, or left at the gym, or up my ass, or anything other than it's handy and available here and now at the moment if you catch my drift. I once had a similar locked closet in my garage where I kept my "firearms and amo" and it stayed locked up safely for over five years. Nobody ever really asked questions and I had lots and lots of visitors. Also, being a christian I do not ever lie about anything. My guns and amo where in fact in that same closet.
