Just because weed itself isn't physically addictive and won't cause withdrawals doesn't mean you can't be addicted to it. All addictions work the same way that if YOU let the addiction take over, then it will. Now, that being said, I can safely say your friend is addicted to weed. No matter how ridiculous and asinine that sounds, it's the truth. Slap some sense into this kid and make him realize that weed isn't all there is out there, and it certainly isn't the best and only thing worth mentioning. People like your friend are the reason why weed isn't legalized yet, because people are afraid of what weed could turn them into even though only a small percentage of even daily smokers turn out like your friend. Ask your friend what makes weed so great, why he does it, what makes it so important to him, etc...Maybe you'll get some sort of response as to why he feels the need to steal just to smoke. Perhaps he has some underlying reason (depression, anxiety...) why he smokes, and that's what's making him do all the things he's been doing. If you consider him a really good friend, he shouldn't have a problem telling you about what's going on.

There are few possibilities here. One that is not possible is pot being the only explanation for his actions.

He could be a "thief". These folks actually have a disease. They steal to sort of get off. Its weird. I used to know a true thief. He could distinguish between steeling from his friends and family though. Put him into a department store and he just could not resist. One day he came into out room at college...dragging a keg with him. Yup, he ganked that shit right up from frat row. He had taken a tap a week eariler.

The next possibility is he is on another drug. That is something a friend may or may not know. Think of it this way, if he stole from his folks and lied to them, then your are in the group of people he would cheat lie and steel from.

So, I'm not sure whats going on there. Honestly, if he is into violence, [PERIOD] your best bet is to not associate with him. Like even if you see him passing by, don't even look at him.

You know, cause all you got to lose is your freedom. If he beats some one and your with him, even if you don't agree with what he did, your still an accomplice.

i can tell u that if all that u do is smoke weed, think about smoking weed, spend all your time and money getting weed, then your fucking stupid. i have a friend who was a really good friend until recently. all he thinks about is weed. he doesnt go 2 minutes without mentioning it. he is dumb as fuck nowadays. when hes not high, he is always starting shit with people and just being an asshole. when he does have weed, he smokes all of it at once and then later, when he wants more, he tries to hustle people for their money, he steals money from others. he is fucking pretty much a braindead slave to weed. he is alright to be around when he is high but other than that hes a thorn in everyones side. this dude is about to be 19 and his family kicked him out for stealing from them, and he also was kicked out beacuse he would rather stay out all the time and get fucked up then only go home to sleep. dont get me wrong, i love weed. but i think if your life only revolves around weed then there is a problem. does anyone know how i could change my friends outlook on everythg? peace and thanks:thumbsup:
