If these corporations don't wake up and smell the future, then they will one day awake to the startling realization that they are sitting in the midst of a crumbling empire, and they have no way to salvage their once vast and mighty reach...there are some, that are catching on...piracy will exist as long as there is means and reason to do so. I can download all the latest movies a day after they come out in theatres, I can get entire discographys of musicians with a few mouse clicks, but it is still something I would have to do...at the same time, I can go to a flea market booth, ask for 'the list' and then purchase the same movies, already burned to a DVD, and then rewatch it on my own time at my own leisure. what do I care if my $10 goes to a pirate or to the company?

this is what happens when you use media that costs all of $4 to create and try to sell it for $35. maybe someday soon they'll realize that?
