Watering plants using carbonated water?
Does stupids have a stupid idea...or not?
I have a crazy idea I was thinking of this morning...I know plants love a CO2 environment...how would the plant respond to using San Peligrino Sparkling Mineral Water...would the roots transport the carbonation (CO2) to the leaves
Or does CO2 only benifit the plant by entering the leaves?stupids Reviewed by stupids on . Watering plants using carbonated water? Does stupids have a stupid idea...or not? it would be much easer and you will get more co2 if you mix it with a good bottle of booze and talk to your plants.
One 40 pound tank of co2 will make a 5000-10,000 sodas or last a large grow room about 2 monhs at 1500 +- 50 ppm.
Note just normal breathing in a large room will up the co2 levels about 600 ppm over normal earths 300 ppm of co2 .
But if your real rich go for it

also would leaving a can of soda or carbonated water open and just letting the drink lose its carbonation help the plant get co2?

Watering plants using carbonated water?
no............that would be a waste of soda, unless you drank it afterwords. you need a certain amout of co2 in the room for your plants to benefit.
