new to cell phones - do free ringtones exist?

hey i just finally got my first cell phone ever (yeah I missed the boat a bit) and I'm interested in ringtones of course. I am also interested in FREE ringtones. DOes anyone know if there is a site that can make my dream come true?

All "Free Ringtone" sites I go to look like you are about to be trapped in some hidden subscription. That doesn't really sound like my thing

I'm in Canada with a Virgin Mobile/Nokia phone if that matters

You gotta pay for it dude. nothings free now a days. not even the newspaper. my bro has a Virgin mobile phone and hes gotta pay for it. i got a Telus phone and its like $3 or more for a ringtone. Make sure u downlaod the ones that are $3.50 cause if there cheaper ull get jewed wit that ring tune that sounds like a baby tune.

no such thing as free ringtones but if u got a slick phone that u can put mp3's on u can then make ur own ringtone. you may have to chop part of the song off to make it short "like a ring tone" thats the only way ull get around the $3.50 bullshit.

my bud has a pearl or watever u call em and he hasnt paid a dime for a ringtones cause all he does is make his own. but with my cell i can record shit and make it my ringtone. not the greatest but its decent for $150 phone.

And there's a website called mobile17.com where you can get free ringtones using songs from your itunes. It's kinda confusing, but it works and is actually free!

I make my own music ringtones at least...don't know if that's what you want or not..

I paid $7.99 I think it was 1 time for a year membership...+ transfer rate of each ringtone to my phone after I make it, but .20cents beats the hell out of a couple dollars.

if your phone is mp3 compatible you can transfer mp3's from your computer via bluetooth or usb cable then you can simple use an mp3 as your ringtone.....this of course is easily free and u have a UNLIMITED source of music .....;D

nah mate most phones that come out since middle of last year come standard with mp3 players the only problems lie in phone liek the RAZOR V3 this phone is a crap joke it has an mp3 player....but not enoutgh space for an mp3?????? wtf is the point in that?

anyways i have a k800i black with a 512mb memory stick hat came with the phone. i currently have about 50+ mp3 tracks (FULL TRACKS) and i have diffrent tracks set as ringtone , message tone , alarm tone, etc,

i also had a epsiode of the simpsons...yes a FULL episode it was the one where homer smokes weed cos the cros peck his eyes....anyway it played 100%perfect in mp4 i think? smooth and not one choppy scene and the sound was crystall,


and sum people go and buy a ipod? lmao heheheheh joke
