Zing Zong!

It happened yesterday about 6:30 pm central time. I walked into my local headshop and bought myself a "tobacco water pipe with a z-neck", otherwise known as a zong.

It was 55.00 straight up. It came with 2 bowls and screens. I harvested an NL a few days ago, dried it out and got rid of some of it, turned around and bought myself a zong. Met up with team "smoke-a-lot", and christened my zong with my new homegrown. Got wickedly blazed! The "team" has about 20 years collectively under our belts, and we were laughing and giggling and found ourselfs amazingly run over. Its a great feeling to have a brand new zong and brand new homegrown that is the best you have produced yet. I had been taking a week hiatus from smoking for tolerance purposes, as well as not really willing to smoke schwag, as I had no harvest yet.

If you are in the market for a new toy, look into a zong. I love how you can rip it as hard as you want, and never get any water in the neck. When I hit someones bong and can feel bongwater splashing, I think that is nasty and unnacceptable. Like I said above, we all just got plum shitty with the zong. However, at the end of the night, we all realized that we were really high, but our throats felt like we hadn't even smoked at all, this zong is so smooth. I have *NEVER*, in 2 years of smoking, felt my throat feel so good. I also love the size of it. There was a smaller size, but I felt it was too small. I don't consider myself to be a king ripper, I can lose my head if I overrip a big bong, which hurts my throat and I can only take so big of a hit after that. So for me, I like to keep coughing down to a minimum. There was also a bigger size, which a friend of mine has, and when I go to his place and rip his zong, I can get sent off my head if I am not careful. I also feel like his has too much air volume, so I settled on this one and don't regret a second of it. It has a perfect volume. Its about 10" tall. I have been putting a thimble-sized amount of gatorade powder down the stem before filling it up. It gives a nice fresh aroma to the air. Definately will continue to do this.
