Instead of spending the trillions of dollers on the war for oil over there, why dont we use it to make our country completely independed for energy.. Alaska has the worlds biggest untapped oil researves right now, North Dakota is trying to pass laws to legally grow hemp (waiting on DEA approval), we have the resorces right now, we just need to take the time to develope them, and worry about Iran and North Korea, those are gonna be alot bigger threat then Iraq where we are just sitting in the crossfire of a civil war, the civil war over there is a stratigy by them to keep us from winning, and its working!

And the presidential cannidates now arent much better... We need someone thats going to lead the country instead of being the "first" in office, the 2 major ones right now would be the first woman, or the first black man.. Just a way to attract more votes, not a way to lead a country...
not really the U.S. has had a large national debt for a long time and it was over a trillion back in the 80's and has been climbing ever since check the links below if you really want to know.

I do...........it's nice to see a president actually stand up for what he thinks is right instead of playing the "I voted for it before I voted against it" crap.

When the Republicans had complete control they had to make some tough choices and they did.........so tell me what tough choices the dem controlled congress or senate has made yet. Non-binding resolutions don't count as a hard decision by the way.

IF Kerry would have been in office the Iranians probably would have held them hostages for a hell of a lot longer. Why give in to a flip-flop tree huggin' pussy? Can anyone say Mr. Peanut Jimmy Carter?

    I support Bush.

I dont agree with all his policy actions but what do I know, I am a guy NOT in elected office, I dont get intelligence updates, I dont have cabinet meetings with information the public isnt aware of.

How can somebody without access to ALL the information make a intelligenet decision. I am not slamming anybody here I just support MY COUNTRY. The USA.

I am proud to live in a country where I can slam the government without fear of persecution, without storm troopers kicking in my door, you couldnt do this in alot of other countries.

    Proud to be an American!

i think we need to find more common people that are able to plant their views in congress, and in the cabnets, instead of professional politicians. There needs to be some new found respect for our country, everyones so passimistic about everything the government does, its always their faults, Yes they do have a tough job, but they need to listen to the people more. You look after kennedy was shot, people all over cried for him, same when FDR died. We need a leader that we have a connection with, that way a larger majority would support more of the desicions. I personally have met my states congress man, and the house majority leader is the son of my nieghbors, so thats the kind of connection i kind of feel when it comes to politicians, i want someone i can go meat, and hear them talk. This is coming form a senior in highschool, and if im seeing this sort of stuff, then what about everyone else in the country?
I have a time machine at home..

its essentially a cardboard box with the word time machine on the side with a sharpie..

unfortunately, what the 'thinks' is right is not what the majority of the American people and congress think, yet he continues to ignore our will. I don't think it's nice to see a president do that one bit whatsoever. He's working for us, making the decisions we don't want him to.

He is not right. Securing Iraq is not going to help America. If they want to attack us, there are hundreds of planes that either the however many of them in other countries, or the insane unbelievable amount of these people living in America. It'll happen when they want it to, regardless of if our military is in their country or not. They hate us, and they always will. Our beliefs contradict theirs, their beliefs contradict ours. We're never going to be happy unless we leave each other be.

So that justifies how many american deaths in Iraq? I cannot express with words or action how opposed I am to the way president bush has ignored us, and I will never ever forgive him for that. Nor forgive him for the unreplaceable lives of the few young men that I was friends with before their lives were taken in Iraq. This war is based on deception. And that my friend, is not how a fucking "American Democracy" is supposed to work.

I am so completely amazed at how many sheeple still give Bush a vote of confidence, although it's running right along with his popularity polls. I can't understand what would lead sheeple to make this astounding decision. Do they not read or watch the news. Does Faux noise have that large of an audience. Totally amazing. This is the worst president since I've been alive, 66 years, and 22% of the people still support him. I guess there's something to be said for blind obedience, or outright ignorance, either way, I'd like to know why.

Say psycho, are you a professional wrestler by any means. You are always on your bully pulpit screaming how us Dems are cowards and gutless chickenshits. To be Candid, without going to Factcheck cut and paste USA, I'd venture to say as many Democrats took us to war and and prosecuted wars as Re-Pubes. Now in my little brain that is not an admirable trait, but at least in your little brain, you should see that the Dems have as much balls as any Re-pubes, but to be honest, the ones that start wars, never fight in them, so how does that make them brave. In fact I've noticed over the years that the most adament proponents of war are the non-participants. Example: Dick Cheney who most think actually was the driving force behind the war, never participated in the Military at all, he was "Too Busy". A few close calls, some shrapnel in your body or worse and you begin to see the reality of war. It is the means by which the Elites gain power and wealth by using the proletariate to do the fighting and dying, just like in the old days where the King sat in his castle and sent forth his armys to conquer more territory and riches, same shit, different time. So unless you're an elite or a king, war is extremely stupid, count me in the extremely stupid camp.
