New to the boards and drug testing.

Hey all, I have been smoking for close to thirty years now and have never had to deal with drug tests personally. Yesterday my wife was called in for an old job opening she had applied for a while back. They are interested in her and informed her she would have to take a drug test, a hair strand test.

Now even though I have never had to fool with drug screens I do have some knowledge of urine testing. This area is totally alien to me. She rarely smokes, maybe 3 or four times in the last 5 months. When she does its just a couple of tokes on a bowl usually. The thing is we were at a concert last friday night and smoked a bowl, as well as being around others smoking. Now this has come up. I honestly do not know what to do here, we need this job, and I am not even sure what they will be looking for. It's in a doctors office as a office assistant.

I have been reading the boards for a bit and deiced to join, hoping to have some good feedback and maybe some suggestions. I have read up on how the strand test works, but I have no clue of options to deal with it... if any?

Sorry to sound so longwinded, just wanted to provide an acurate account of whats going on. Comments/ suggestions?

Have you read up on the stickies? I'm sure you have, just in case you have not go check em out, good free info there. Give it a day or two for some one with direct experience in this to reply.

How much time does she have?

Thanks for the greeting! Yea I had looked them over earlier on in the week, but I might need to look again. I am thinking at the outside she probably has no more than week? We are actually waiting for them to let us know if she has the position.
