Green Dragon Cupboard Method

I am going to be trying the Cupboard method to make Green Dragon, since my roommates suck and would get pissed if I did it the way Master Wu has out.


Marijuana Recipes

Ingredients
1/2 ounce cannabis
1/5 liter 95% ethanol (190 proof)

Directions
Grind the cannabis into a fine powder. Put into light-proof glass container with the ethanol and let sit for 2-10 weeks, shaking daily. For a unique zing, add 1 tablespoon of lemon or orange zest with the cannabis and ethanol. Serve chilled in a cold glass with 3 ice cubes, 1 shot of Green Dragon, 3 shots of citrus soda (like Sprite or 7UP), and a teaspoon of honey.

I have access to decent dank (nothing brand name but good stuff nonetheless), and good middies. I'd rather not buy a whole half ounce of dank as that would be running me almost $200.00.

Has anyone used this method or any other cupboard method and found it to be successful? What was the procedure and how did you dose it? How much weed did you use and what quality was it?

You're going to get more potency if you heat the bud, after grinding but before soaking in the alcohol. It's decarboxylation and it makes sure you get every last drop of THC, but it sure does stink when you cook it.

As long as you let it soak long enough, I don't think it would matter much whether you have it in the cupboard for a few months or do it over the stove.

does anyone know anything about dosing with this method?

1/5 liter is 200 mL
1/2 oz is ~14 grams

so you end up with .07 grams/mL

In the other G. Dragon thread it said 1 mL = 1 dropper, so you might start with 2 or 3 droppers full, except 95% alcohol will burn your mouth so you need to add it to water or something.
