According to Wikipedia, Larry the Cable Guy's real name is Daniel Lawrence Whitney. He grew up in Nebraska. After moving to West Palm Beach, FL, at 16 he attended The King's Academy, which was recently recognized as one of the top 7 Christian Secondary schools in the United States. His redneck accent is fake, and he trained to emulate it while growing up in Nebraska.
