HELP - From 18/6 to 12/12 to 18/6 (light cycle question - clone)

I switched to 12/12 light cycle 4 days ago and I can already see some males and some females. I have 2 questions for you:

1 â?? How long should I leave them in a 12/12 environment before I can be 100% sure I do not have hermies and can be sure they are male or female ?

2 â?? After I only have females, how long should I wait before I can clone my female after putting them back in an 18/6 light cycle ?

    Thanks,

why the hell would you want to put them back on 18/6? that'l cause them to reveg (which takes a month or more) and stress the hell out of them. leave the light cycle alone, they are now flowering.

Herms are very rare and something you almost have to purposely work at to get them so stop worrying about them.

The length of time doesn't matter. You take cuttings when you have some to take.

If I were you I'd wait until sex shows naturally. Most strains show by the 5th to 6th week or when alternating branching is well underway. Flowering to determine sex only adds several more weeks to the veg period unless you're planning to flower as soon as sex shows...but if you do that you you'll have far less yield and fewer cuttings to start clones.

Because I want to clone them and cant clone from a flowering plant !

Most strains show by the 5th to 6th week
WTF, itâ??s been 6 days now and I can already say with a 85 % accuracy witch are the girls and witch are the boys !

I guess they will stay in 12/12 for another 5 days (11 days in total) â?¦ Once I switch them back to 18/6, I will give them 2 weeks before I start cloning for my outdoor project.

    Any suggestion welcome,

you do not have to go to 12/12 to determine sex as they will show preflowers on an 18/6 light cycle by the time they reach a certain age wich can vary but is usually somewhere between 3 - 7 weeks old.
if you must go back to 18/6 would probably do it now or you could also take clones now and continue to flower the plants and start the clones under 18/6

I learn something new everyday; Thanks!

They are into their 7th day of 12/12 and I can tell you with a 95% accuracy that I have 4 girls and 5 boys â?¦ (I heard some got worse so I wont complain) !

I did not have 5 to 6 weeks to determine sex as I need them for outdoor purpose and want them out on June 1st at the latest. I will wait another 3 days in 12/12 to be 100% sure and will then switch back to 18/6 for 2 weeks before I take cuttings.

Last year, I had big bud super skunk and Afghani plants outside â?¦ This year; Iâ??m following some of you guys advice and Iâ??m going with the white widow (I have 4 females) as I need something a little stronger ... (I hope the white widow will do well outdoor ? ).
