Glass vs. Stone

We'll I'm going to say to I enjoy the way a pipe looks, and the thought put into a wicked glass pipe. I'm willing to take a hit (like a punch not a hoot, but i'll take a hoot too..) for the price. Even if it came to it a little worse of fon the inhale just to support an artist of like mind, fighting in a profession thats facing it's obstocles.

What are wholesale pipes??!!~ Does and artist make them or a mold/cast. Or a similar sytem. If so i wanna buy a new pipe. Eventually.
I don't like supporting things which take away from the people.

I was wondering if anyone has smoked out of stone, and if so, how would you compare it to glass? I'm quite temped to pick up a stone piece online as they seem to run a little less than the nicer glass pieces. Good idea or not, from anybody who knows? Rating: 5

They look cool, sure, but I wouldn't feel comforatable smoking from one. I'm not sure why.

Hey thanks.. I think I'm no longer kicked off... Conclussion i came to after chatting with my mom last night. I'm not %100 sure, but I think im off the computer ban. Mabe she'll come home and tell me to get off, I'm not sure.

I hope I'm to stay back. If not i think i'll only be gone for another day or 2. When mymom came home that day she was like "it's doomsday" attitude. Lol i didn't think she would care that much.

I like stone because they don't taste like metal and they don't break like glass. They don't taste quite as good as glass but it's not that big of a difference. Those two you showed are pretty expensive for stone pipes that size though. I bought one similar to the second one at a head shop for 6 bucks. I wouldn't pay what they are asking. Part of the appeal of the stone for me is that they are so cheap and durable.

I smoked out of this stone pipe once, thing was huge, you could easily fit an ounce in there and smoke away. Maybe it was from smoking too much to the point I felt like puking, but I prefer my glass

no offense, but there's no fucking way you could fit an oz in any pipe, unless they're like the ritual giant bongs in jamaica or something; those are like really fuckin' big and stuff...I need a cigarette.

This isn't any ordinary pipe, the bowl itself is the actual size of a eating bowl except more rounded. Thing is huge.

Stones are cool for the novelty factor, as much as anything, dude...nice enough smoke

i prefer glass, but i got a few soap stone pipes around someplace that i made like 6 years ago

I prefer glass. I don't think the hits are any different, but the quality of the pipe is. A strong glass bowl will last a lot longer. Soapstone is not a hard stone, that's why it's so easy to carve. This is just my opinion, but I'd take glass over stone any day.
