quick question bout roots

Whatsup everyone. Im in the process of germinating 2 bag seeds between a couple layers of paper towels. one seed has sprouted a nice root over night, about half an inch. the other hasnt sprouted yet but i know it can take a while. so i was just wondering if i kept them plenty moist, if the root systems would keep growing and be stronger. i remember germinating lima beans as a science project in like 2nd grade and we let them germinate for about 2 weeks using the same technique and they actually started growing leaves. thanx in advance since i know how much yall like to help confused peeps like me.haha

theres a good chance it could get over saturated and then they turn yellow and get weak.

i never germinated any of my seeds. its a popular method though. and probably recommended.

to say the least, i have no real knowledge of it and this is a waste of a post on my part. sorry.

Once the taproot shows you need to get it into soil right away.
You risk damaging the root by leaving it out.
Plus the root hairs that are not visible to the naked eye will start to grow into the fibres of the towel and when you remove the sprouted seed, they will be destroyed.
Go hang out in 'cultivation'. f'real.
