when do i start looking for trichome

ok thanks, reason im asking is because i picked up a microscope from radioshack. and it seem's like it's messed up because when i look at something there's like a little line that looks like leaf and i cant see the tric's and no matter what i look at that little line is there.

I have called Radio Shack, and they tell me they never sell Microscopes. I am wanting to get something with about 30-50X magnification. I have yet to find something. I have a small microscope, but it is to powerful. 150/300/900X Magnification. Microscopes this powerful are ment for looking inside the plant, not at the plant, Hence the light source from below.

You know, The people that work in most of these store are such idiots, or lazy. I called 3 radio shacks about microscope. All of them said we never sell anything like that. Here it is. And the one right down the road a few miles has 4 of them.

They do have them, the damn liars...little plastic pocket microcopes for about $20 with something like 100x. They also have a built-in light but a solid, flat surface is needed for viewing because a hand can't hold the subject still enough to maintain focus.
