    Instead of an actual deletion all you have to do is erase the content of the original post and replace it with 3 symbols, as long as it's within the allotted time allowed of course.

    actually psycho...you just flip a switch that says "allow user to delete own posts" I have it on my forums. I am sure there is one on the settings/options/permissions admin.page.

    I wouldn't allow this permission though. Peace

    ive been on forums where it was allowed. i dont think it caused too much a ruckus.

    as far as account deletion goes, yeah all the threads and posts go with it, but is that really a big deal?
