How important is a firm handshake?

I was behaving yesterday, you just took it a little too personally.

If I remember correctly you even had to go tattle.

    tsk tsk

Surprised to see such an exceptional example of a "real man" go "tsk tsk". I guess that you're just expressing irony. Will wonders never cease?

I would have named a place and time, but knew you wouldnâ??t have shown up. When push comes to shove, they (big talkers) never do.

Another day... another string of utterly unimaginative and unamusing insults courtesy of BA.

    *yawn*

Valkyrie, I like the car. Very nice work. I've always had a little summin' summin' for American muscle.

nice thread, a firm handshake is a very good thing to have. theres a major difference between squeezing and trying to prove to the other guy that you have a stronger grip and a firm handshake. by a firm handshake, you should get the point across that you are confident and have personal power. it's always a good thing to have a bit of muscle and grip strength though, but the idea is to not try and break the other guy's fingers. one thing i hate is when people wrap their pinky around the bottom of my hand like they're trying to fucking hang on to my hand to save themselves from the edge of a cliff. in the end, its all about how you carry yourself, and a firm/manly handshake is part of that.

Thanks. Its a 67 mustang. 302, carbed, 3 on the floor. Black on black. 15mpg (not too bad) Even put A/C in it last year. Tinted windows, beautiful stereo. My dad taught me the basics of mechanics and I went from there. plan on keeping it my hobby rather than my work.

Its been driven in about 30 different states. Once broke down in the holland tunnel.
