How important is a firm handshake?

If that were an acceptable way to start an interview, I would like that a lot better than a dumb handshake. Especially if the interviewer was hot. :rastasmoke:

"you look a man in the eye, whether he is bigger or smaller than you. Stick out your hand into their space before they do.
